Disaster Relief
Tornadoes have ripped through our beloved Tennessee. The need to help and the passion to help is great. If you would like to help then here are three ways:
(1) Give to disaster relief efforts. The Tennessee Disaster Relief team have dispatched teams into the areas of need. These teams are composed of godly men and women that not only will help with the physical need but also have been equipped to share the gospel with those people affected by the disaster. Every dollar given to the Tennessee Disaster Relief not only cleans up the physical disaster but spiritual disasters in people’s lives. If you would like to donate then click here: https://tndisasterrelief.org/contributions/
(2) Physically join a team to help pick up and clean up. At Springfield Baptist Church, Todd Ballard is leading and connecting people to the requests that we are receiving. If you are interested in physically helping out then email Todd at atoddballard@att.net or our office at tinabaker@springfield-baptist.com.
(3) Pray for those involved. Please pray for those that have been affected by the disaster and pray for those that are helping. People are picking up their lives like never before and they might not have been ready for a disaster like this. Pray for the people that have lost family or friends. Pray for the leaders that are engaging the area to help other people. Pray for safety, clean up and spiritual care of all of those involved.
